• What is the Silk'n LED Neck Mask?

  The Silk'n LED Neck Mask is a skin-improving beauty tool, specifically designed for the neck. It can be used to tackle a range of skin problems including fine lines, wrinkles, loose skin, acne and pigmentation.

• Which skin problems are tackled by the four LED colours?

  Red light, 622nm: reduces fine lines and wrinkles, stimulates collagen and helps to improve blood circulation. Suitable for all skin types.

  Blue light, 463nm: targets the bacteria that cause acne and helps normalise oil production for clearer skin and improved skin texture. Suitable for oily skin.

  Yellow light, 592nm: has soothing properties, softens the skin and offers relief for dry skin.

  Purple light, 425nm: anti-inflammatory and anti-ageing properties to improve the vitality of the skin. Suitable for all skin types.

• How does it work?

  The LED light (red, blue, yellow or purple) is absorbed by the skin and the dermis. This triggers cellular activity, which helps to renew skin cells and repair ageing tissue. After each treatment session, the skin looks more beautiful and radiant than before.

• Is it suitable for everyone?

  It’s suitable for both men and women, for all skin types and all skin colours. This device is not designed for all skin conditions. Therefore, please read the contra-indications in the user manual in their entirety before you start your treatment.

• Is it safe?

  The Silk’n LED Neck Mask has been thoroughly tested and the results show that it is safe for use in a typical home environment by both men and women. Always read the user manual carefully before using the LED Neck Mask.

• Does the treatment hurt?

  No. You will only feel a mild sensation of warmth during your treatment. You may also experience some very mild pinkish colouration of the skin during and just after the treatment, which will gradually fade within a short time.

• How should I use the Silk’n LED Neck Mask?

  After you have fully charged the Silk'n LED Neck Mask, thoroughly clean and dry your neck. Make sure it is free from any make-up or dirt. Place the mask over your neck and fasten the straps at the back of your neck. Then select one of the treatment therapies.

• Should I apply a serum or cream before the treatment?

  No: before the treatment your skin must be clean and free from any serum, cream or lotion. We recommend applying a serum and/or day/night cream after the treatment as absorption is enhanced owing to the increase in blood circulation.

• How long does a treatment take?

  In the Manual mode, one single treatment session takes 10 minutes, in which one preferred LED colour is active. The mask automatically switches off after 10 minutes.

  In the Auto mode, all four LED colours are active and this treatment takes 15 minutes. The mask automatically switches off after 15 minutes.

  Important: we advise that you treat your skin for no longer than 15 minutes per session.

• How do I clean my mask?

  You can clean the mask by using a damp cloth or a water-based wipe. Then wipe it dry with a dry cloth.

• When can I expect results?

  The effect of using this product mainly depends on your skin type. Additionally, results vary from person to person. Normally you can expect results in about two to three weeks.

• Should I do anything after the treatment?

  After treatment you can apply a serum and/or day/night cream to nourish your skin.

• Can I sunbathe?

  Yes. Because the Silk’n LED Neck Mask is not a laser, you can sunbathe immediately before or after the treatment. However, we do recommend that you apply a cream with SPF protection when you are exposed to the sun owing to the general ageing effect of its UV light.

• Is there any recovery time?

  The Silk’n LED Neck Mask works in a different way from laser treatment, which means that there is no need for a recovery period. You can immediately carry on with your daily activities.

• At what age can it be used?

  This device is suitable from the age of 18.

• Am I allowed to use this device when I am pregnant or breastfeeding?

  No, you are not allowed to use this device when you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

• Can I use this device if I have dermal fillers or have undergone professional (surgical) treatments such as micro needling or ablative RF/laser?

  This product has not been tested on people who have had dermal fillers or professional (surgical) treatments. Therefore, we cannot recommend use of this product in such cases. If one of these conditions applies to you, we advise that you speak with your physician before using the LED Neck Mask.

  In the event that you have undergone micro needling or ablative RF/laser, we recommend that you wait until your skin has completely healed before using the LED Neck Mask.
